Cabin Layouts
All three of our cabins have an identical layout however the Sink in Bed #1 is only in Huron.
Each Cabin can sleep 5 people comfortably.
Bed #1 has a queen size bed in all three cabins.
Bed #2 has a full bed in Superior and Huron. Michigan has a queen bed.
Front Rm has a twin size bed in Superior and Huron. Michigan features a twin day bed.
What to bring for your stay?
We do have traditional stove tops in each cabin with refrigerators & a microwave.
It’s tough to pack for the UP-pack for all seasons.
Do not forget-the route (cell service is tricky), the bug spray, fill up when you see a gas station.
What amenities are in the Cabins?
We will have the following for you to use while staying with us:
- Coffee Maker
- Full kitchen that includes dishes, cooking utensils, cleaning supplies, toaster, silverware & drinking cups
- TV with a standard DVD player (no Blu-Ray) and selection of movies.
- Clean Towels & Linens
-Grill and Fire Pit.
Where are the snowmobile trails
You can pick up a main snowmobile trail right off of US 2 which is South of Blaney Park and going towards Germfask which is just north of the property. Below is a link to the current trail systems for snowmobile. We also recommend follow Seney Snowmobile Association & Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. on Facebook for update trail information.
Where are the nearest UTV, ATV Motorcycle trails?
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources has all the maps located on their website. The 27 Mile Danahar Plain Trail is just north of Blaney by 20 minutes. These are GPS coordinates for the parking lot for Danahar Trail N46.40668 W85.94510
IS there WI-Fi & Cell Service?
There is limited Cell Phone service though it works well for most at the cabins. We have starlink at the garage and the code is found in your cabin.
Method of Payment
We invoice via square which allows you to pay securely with almost any card.
Are Dogs Allowed?
YES. All dogs must be up to date on their applicable shots. No more than 2 dogs are allowed. An additional $50 will be charged for their stay All dog excrement must be picked up on a daily basis. Dogs should not be left unattended in the cabins or outside at any time. If you are traveling your dog needs to be in a crate in a cool enough area in the cabin or with you. When outside your dog must be leashed at all times.
****FYI M-77 is at times a busier road way. This is a major highway used from North to South. Be aware of the highway, your children and your dogs.
Pet Policy – Insurance Compliance
Due to insurance underwriting requirements for this property, certain dog breeds classified by carriers as high‑risk cannot be permitted. These restrictions are not based on personal preference, but on mandatory insurance rules that apply to our short‑term rental in Germfask, Schoolcraft County, Michigan.
Restricted breeds (per insurance carrier): Pit Bull–type breeds, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Doberman, Chow Chow, Akita, Wolf Hybrid, and Mastiff breeds, including mixes of these breeds.
If you plan to bring a dog, you must disclose the breed in advance so we can confirm compliance with our insurance policy.
Service Animals & ESA Notice: In accordance with the federal Fair Housing Act, legitimate service animals and emotional support animals are exempt from breed restrictions. We may only ask the legally permitted questions and may not charge pet fees for service animals.
Any animal—regardless of breed—may be declined if it has a documented history of aggression or poses a safety risk.
Is there place for multiple cars to park?
Yes, every guest is allowed to park up to 2 cars per cabin. We will have signs to direct you where you can park on the grass.
Is there Smoking allowed?
Any kind of smoking must be done outside no butts about it! Any type of smoking is not allowed inside the cabins or garage at any time. All smoking material including but not limited to cigarette butts, rolled cigarette remnants, etc. must be discarded properly. Failure to comply with this will result in an additional fees and fines. This policy is strictly enforced, we ask that you kindly be respectful of future guests and the time that it takes to remove the smell. Also be very aware of the risk of forest fires in the UP.
Is there a grill I can use?
Yes, there is a propane grill for each cabin to use. Please be aware of your grill and attend to it at all times.
Can we climb the Water Tower?
No. Climbing the water tower is strictly forbidden at this point in time. AGAIN if you are caught climbing or attempting to climb the Water Tower, you will be asked to leave Blaney Park immediately and no refunds for your stay will be issued.
Is the runway active? can i fly my plane to Blaney Park?
The runway will remain private in Blaney Park
When is check-out/Check-in?
Check-in: 3:00 pm the day of your arrival
Check-out: 11:00 am the day of your departure.
